The reality is, “diet” doesn’t mean healthy. “Diet” for the most part simply means, less calories or less fat. But it doesn’t mean you won’t get fat drinking diet soda… and it also doesn’t mean it’s more healthy than regular soda.
It’s BAD for you… period.
